As someone working in the emerging technology and law space, I support my research ventures by following the work of others. The following listing is for information purposes and is not necessarily an endorsement of the listed individuals’ work. Please consider this page as a reference page or a works cited page (without the accompanying “work”). The individuals are currently listed in no particular order, and this page is currently being updated (under construction).
Professor Hany Farid, University of California, Berkeley

Professor Farid is one of the leading experts on deepfakes, who has been working on various techniques to determine whether a particular piece of media is AI-generated or genuine. His website contains extensive listings of all of his works (including interviews and talks that you can listen to). Professor Farid also kindly made available full-length video lectures on (1) Computer Vision, (2) Python (an introductory coding course), and (3) physics-based photo forensics.
