Using Deepfake Techniques as an Obfuscation Information Security Defensive Mechanism, Journal of Information Warfare (Volume 23, Issue 4), (2024) [Subscription Access Online]: This journal article presented a novel and beneficial application of deepfake technology in the realm of moving target obfuscation information security defense mechanisms. This defensive obfuscation technique aimed to utilize generative artificial intelligence systems to synthesize honeypot datasets that mimic certain characteristics of sensitive and highly sought-after datasets by threat actors.

Teachings
AI: Introduction for Non-Experts, JD and LL.M., William & Mary Law School (Fall semesters 2023, 2024, and 2025) [LAW 491]: a course to introduce fundamental concepts of AI and related technologies to non-technically trained law students. The course focuses on predictive AI and generative AI systems. Students have AI lab sessions to interact with publicly available AI systems to familiarize themselves with the potential and limitations of machine learning-based technologies.
